Butterflies are fascinating. They come in various shapes, sizes, and colors, and yet they are so easy to draw. When you are asked to draw a butterfly, you can do practically anything you can imagine. Butterflies are a symbol of freedom and creativity.
The Butterfly 2.0 creative experience takes this freedom even further. As is often the case, we need to limit ourselves first before we discover what we can really achieve. We are going to imagine and create a butterfly like no other, but we are not allowed to draw it. We’ll avoid traditional drawing or painting tools entirely. Instead, we’ll utilize materials discovered in our environment.
Butterfly 2.0 relies on exploring our surroundings and reusing different materials and objects. We might come across some of these ingredients randomly while looking around us. Alternatively, we can look for concrete items based on careful planning. Whatever approach we take, our butterfly will transform into a collage of elements that, together, evolve into something beautiful and completely different.
